This is a clip that I published on the old website quite a while ago, but I just watched it again and I actually got teary-eyed (again! lol) so I figured it would be worth sharing.
Gosh I’m such a sap…
I don’t know why I get emotional about stuff like this. I guess it’s just because I just absolutely love it when I see someone that has a heart of service and goes out of their way to help others, especially when they themselves have so very little.
A lot of people in today’s self-centered society have the “every man for himself” attitude and only care about themselves so I find these stories incredibly inspiring (and humbling).
I think a lot of us can look at ourselves in the mirror and ask ourselves whether we’re making this world a better or worse place; whether it’s all about us or if we actively and regularly help others ; whether we take or give.
